Anticipation

Two weeks from today, I expect to be doing one or more of the following:

• Downing a pint in a pub somewhere on Old Compton Street
• Relaxing in the sun along the Serpentine in Hyde Park
• Taking tea at Fortnum & Mason
• Gazing out over the Thames from the London Eye
• Snacking my way through Harrods Food Halls
• Relaxing on the train to Windsor
• Shopping for tea at Twinings
• Watching BBC2
• Shopping for books on Charing Cross Road
• Minding the gap
