Isn’t it funny how the names of conservative and fundamentalist right-wing organizations evoke this image of freedom? The Florida-based group “Liberty Counsel” took their bigoted opinions to the U.S. Supreme Court, arguing that Massachusetts shouldn’t allow gay marriages. The Supreme Court today refused to intervene.
Wouldn’t you expect a group with “liberty” in its name to go to bat for liberty?
