A little misty

Is it the solemnity of the ceremony? The sadness on Nancy Reagan’s face? The visual similarities to the JFK arrival ceremony?
Whatever it is, it’s making me a bit mournful. I guess it doesn’t matter who’s in the casket.

You know, it’s amazing how quickly they can put something like this together. For example, when I went to work this morning at 9:30am, I crossed the Potomac river from Arlington, and everything looked normal. When I came home at 1:30pm (knowing that the roads were going to close soon, I came home early) there were flags and dark bunting on the bridges.
