He designed buildings like others design clothes — with a bit of whimsy and a lot of creativity. He was also gay. He died yesterday at age 98.
I have always found it somewhat bizarre to contemplate sermons about the “abomination” of homosexuality when juxtaposed with the creator of the Crystal Cathedral.
