Disclaimer: it says “where available”

I knew I wasn’t imagining it: here’s a snapshot I took from the screen on tonight’s episode of Will and Grace:

Despite what they say on the screen, our NBC station has never shown it in high definition, the NBC website doesn’t show it in their list of high definition shows, and I can’t find any evidence (at least on the web) that this show has ever been broadcast in high definition anywhere.

What gives?
