Just As I Thought

Spooky

Ah, there’s nothing like Halloween to make me want to be an Imagineer.

Ah, there’s nothing like Halloween to make me want to be an Imagineer.
Scary music & sound effects on my iPod… flickering candles… a plastic skull… a jack o’lantern… a fog machine… and a jack o’lantern screen saver running in the window. It all adds up to spooky and fun.
My new neighborhood is so amazing — a ton of kids, little ones, with their parents were out on the street. I can’t remember ever seeing so many people on Halloween (last year there were none at my rental in South San Jose). And sometimes one little kid had a gaggle of adults tagging along!
Next year, a cool idea. Feel free to use it yourself.
I have sheers on my windows, which let me get lots of light but still have a bit of privacy. Well, next year I’m going to get my hands on one of those LCD projectors used for presentations. I’ll create some kind of creepy video — some ghosts, some scary faces, etc. — and project it onto the back of the sheers, so my big front window will become a rear-projection screen.
Now, if only I could do some Audioanimatronics…
