A Tale of Two Logos

LOVE this new logo for Science Channel. Immediately, at first glance, it says Science!

But this one… hmm. I can only assume the brief was “make a logo as it would be perceived by an animal who can’t read.”
I swear, every time I look at it, I think it reads “Anal Planet.”
