Unfortunately, thanks to NBC, this wasn’t seen (or heard) in the USA. (Even though the Opening was tape delayed by 5 to 8 hours, depending on your location, NBC still presented it as if it was live — instead of pausing the show while commercials aired, they simply pre-empted parts of the ceremony for ads.)
