Romney taking credit for auto industry success

Mitt Romney is saying that he deserves “a lot of credit” for the resurgence of the American auto industry.

That claim comes in spite of Romney having argued that Detroit should have been allowed to go bankrupt. [SFGate]

So. The always adorable Bryan Fischer lambasted Romney’s choice of an openly gay man to advise his campaign, calling on the entire rabid right to call for his head. And Romney complied. Now Fischer is going after Romney for being stupid enough to do the bidding of the right. WOW.

Like all the high-profile speakers before him, Romney delivered his address from the CPAC main stage at a Marriot hotel in Washington, DC. That means he stood behind a pair of teleprompters and in front of a pair of fake Grecian columns.

Just the other night, when he was giving his address amid the defeats in Missouri, Minnesota and Colorado, Romney took a shot at the man he’s trying to oust from the White House for – well – using teleprompters and standing in front of fake columns.
