Yesterday at work, our left-wing executive director had a meeting with one of those right-wing Bush Boys — Neil, who runs an educational software company.
I was surprised that he arrived alone — not that I expected a phalanx of Secret Service or anything, but he also brought no assistants. That almost never happens. Executives and the like, when visiting our office, invariably bring other people to fill in the blanks. Neil must know his business.
I won’t make other comments about the Bush boys in this entry, there will be (and have been) plenty of others on this blog.
Basically, this is all leading up to one hilarious comment by our executive director, who escorted Bush to the elevator and told him how to get to the subway station (amazingly, he came alone and took the Metro). When she came back in to the office, it’s reported that she said, simply, “I told him to go left.”
