Sure, it’s an event because he’ll get lots of questions over his witless claims that the August 6 memo didn’t warn of possible attacks (and it didn’t give the flights and seat numbers of the hijackers). The spin should be incredibly thrilling, like riding Space Mountain a couple hundred times.
But what’s really so exciting about it is that he deigned to hold one — he’s only held a dozen in all this time. This is a man who doesn’t answer questions.
Is it incredible arrogance, or a tacit acknowledgment that he’s not quick enough to face a room filled with sniping reporters?
