I’m still throwing stuff away, stuff that I once thought had historic value. At this moment, I’m throwing out boxes of floppy discs containing such gems as PowerPoint 3.0, KidPix, SoundEdit Pro, Mac Systems 6 and 7, LaserWriter II software, Claris MacDraw Pro, Deluxe Music Construction Set, Leather Goddesses of Phobos, Hypercard…
of course, none of these discs are readable anymore, being 400 and 800K in a world where the floppy drive has gone to heaven.
That doesn’t mean I won’t miss them.
One day soon a small child will look up and say…Daddy? What’s a floppy drive.
Oh my GOD! I remember “Leather Goddesses of Phobos”!
