Hey, gang!
The Canadian Senate has approved legislation to give same-sex couples the right to marry. All that remains now is for the bill to receive “royal assent” by the Governor General’s signature — possibly today — and Canada boldly moves into the non-discriminatory future.
And each and every day, it feels as if the US is getting to be more and more backwards. Who ever thought that the vibrant USA would look so backwards and doddering next to our neighbor to the north?
