Two pieces of bad news today: first off, Dubya has flown off to Baghdad on another one of those secret surprise visits his groups seems to love so much — the bad part is, he’s not staying.
Second, Karl Rove’s Teflon coating seems to still be effective: he will not be charged with any crimes in the CIA leak case, leaving him free to engineer yet another gay-bashing, fear-mongering, fanatical fundie-pandering election season.
Still, look on the bright side: Cheney is still under a cloud of potential indictment, and whatever punishment God has in store for Karl is undoubtedly going to be far more spectacular.
