Just As I Thought

Years of reading to do

I was thinking about posting something here to commemorate the first anniversary of buying my little California house; I figured I’d do something like comparison photos or something. So I looked back at my entries in November 2005.

I was thinking about posting something here to commemorate the first anniversary of buying my little California house; I figured I’d do something like comparison photos or something. So I looked back at my entries in November 2005. It was really interesting to look back at what I wrote only one year ago; then I realized that I’ve got entries dating back to November 2002. I mean, that’s 4 years — not, in actuality, a huge time frame but still a decent amount of writing. It is interesting to see the ebb and flow of the entries, the periods where I blogged every day about Bush and the periods where I grew so sick of it that I ignored it for a while. I also find myself wondering what it would have been like had I been blogging in September 2001… or during the Clinton impeachment… or back even farther. I think they called it a diary back then.
I might sit down tonight and start reading. This could be fun. You’re welcome to join me: here’s the first page.
An interesting tidbit: on November 16, 2002, I noted that Mac OS X runs on Intel processors. And now, in 2006, I’m writing this on an Intel Macintosh.
