I bemoaned the loss of Bob Edwards when he was forced out of NPR's Morning Edition; now, a few years later, I am bemoaning the loss of Morning Edition itself.
I don't know who is in charge of classifying stories at the San Jose Mercury News, but they're in need of a little common sense and sensitivity.
