- The website for San Jose Semaphore says that the solution was to have been revealed yesterday, August 7. So far, I see nothing posted there or at the Adobe site (Adobe commissioned the artwork).

- Saw “Hairspray” last night and decided that it is one of those rare movies that I would be happy to watch again a few times. Great fun, great songs, amazing dancing, and a great message.
- Halfway through the movie the runny nose I’ve had for days suddenly became a sore throat and the flood gates opened; last night was sleepless for the most part and the part when I did sleep was filled with dreams of keyframing special effects (that’s what I’ve been doing for the last few days) over real-life scenes. This morning I woke to the realization that some kind of flu is here.
