Ah, the resurrection

Sobriety, laudable in many respects, does imply rigidity of thought. The best presidents were open-minded, and generally open to a drink. The nondrinkers, at least over the last century or so, were terrible presidents.

Judging from all the signs everywhere telling people of the dangers of everyday living, I jumped to the conclusion that California was way behind in the area of personal responsibility and individual liberty. Boy, was I  [more...]

I just got it into my head to make a list of all the cars I've owned, sort of an exercise to see a) how much of a consumer I am, and b) what my car choices say about me.
