Today’s Washington Post includes feedback from readers who were asked “Is it moral to drive a gas-guzzling vehicle?” The vast majority in this religious morality debate conclude that it is not, while the SUV-hugging minority gets very defensive! One even insists that the debate is unfair to those poorer people who cannot afford high mileage vehicles. Um, aren’t SUVs extremely expensive?
