Gee, do you think he’ll pretend to be moderate again?

Is anyone else really dreading tonight’s campaign speech by President Bush?
I’m torn between not watching the speech in order to maintain my sanity — and therefore being out of the loop on the enemy — or watching it and throwing something through the screen of my expensive TV.

[Update 7:30pm: I've decided to watch a TiVoed episode of "The West Wing" instead, so I can dream of a country led by a progressive Nobel Prize winner who really cares. Then, a couple episodes of "Monarch of the Glen" to remind me that you can both honor tradition and create change.]
