Well, I sold my original Prius today — I’ll miss her terribly. But with a bit of cash in my pocket, I could be dangerous. For instance, BoingBoing points out some things I could buy:
- An original Disneyland People Mover vehicle, bids starting at $2,000
- A Disneyland Space Mountain car, current bid $5,200.
- The space shuttle model used in filming “Armageddon”, now at $2,650. I visited the Disney studio in 1998 when that movie was filming, and saw the set of the asteroid. The asteroid dust was made of crushed Coco Puffs. I wonder if I could put a box up for sale?
Last year, I bid on an original submarine porthole from the Disneyland Submarine Ride. I lost. I’ve never gotten over it.
