Stuff I missed: a summary

I missed plenty of right-wing idiocy over the weekend. Sorry I didn’t have a chance to post it along with my indignant comments, but I’m sure you found it all yourself and had a lovely time fuming about it.
Rather than go back through the last couple days’ papers and selectively presenting the worst of our esteemed government, I’ve decided to quote just one sentence from yesterday’s paper which should sum up. It’s a quote from comedian Darrell Hammond from an appearance here this weeknd:

President Bush often seems to lose interest mid-sentence and become irritated “because he has to finish a sentence he doesn’t like.”
