I’m watching the movie “Josie and the Pussycats” and I’m pleasantly surprised – it’s good! Beyond the obvious fun of the kitsch value, it’s also a satirical indictment of the world of manufactured fads, boy bands, fashions, and product placement. I love it! Huge corporate logos on every available square inch, people sitting around creating new slang terms, and an over-the-top Parker Posey! If you have the change, watch this one.
And Doctor Who fans, take note: the white studio that is home to the Megasound device is unsettlingly reminiscent of the TARDIS control room…
