Just As I Thought

The critical Windows flaw: installing it

Crimony, a lot to write about tonight.
Microsoft today warned of a “critical Windows flaw” that could allow an attacker to gain total control of a PC.
Is this critical flaw #8450? It seems that there’s a warning like this every week. What kind of a piece of crap IS Windows, anyway?!
I know that Mac OS has it’s problems as well, but you certainly don’t see flaws crawling out of the woodwork like a swarm of insects wriggling in a mass like a bad horror movie. On top of that, you don’t see Macs falling apart because of the latest virus spreading around the world. It just works, that’s all.
I just can’t figure this out – everyone I know who uses Windows hates it. They complain about it, can’t understand it, etc. etc… yet they keep using it! Why do so many people just put up with bad products, bad service, the lowest common denominator…
Hmm. I guess that explains Windows, the phone company, the cable company, Congress, and the President.
