What a shock – I tuned in tonight to the 10th series of BBC’s Ground Force to discover that Alan Titchmarsh, the host and gardener extraordinaire, has gone! Listen, I have nothing against Charlie and Tommy, they’re great – but Alan was the glue that held it all together. It seems like there’s a tooth missing now.

People abusing animals? That’s horrible! The logical thing to do is write a law than bans anyone from documenting it.
