Got room in your backyard? Don’t want one of those little Home Depot gazebos? Call the National Park Service – they have a very special pavilion to dispose of. From WPVI-TV [via Fark]:
The National Park Service might give the Liberty Bell Pavilion to anyone willing to move the building somewhere else.
The bell moves to its new home, the Liberty Bell Center, on October 9th as part of a $300-million redesign of Independence Mall.
But since the pavilion would probably cost at least $200,000 to tear down officials say they wouldn’t mind if someone took it off their hands.
The pavilion was built to house the bell for the city’s bicentennial celebration in 1976.
