I was just reading through some of the Apple discussion boards, looking at comments about the G5. I came across an entry from someone who was complaining that the unamplified $10 microphone he bought wouldn’t work when plugged in to the computer’s audio in port. He says:
Apple claims that it must be an amplified microphone – but I’m finding that hard to believe.
In other words, Apple says that the mic won’t work, but since he doesn’t believe them, he went out and bought one anyway, then complained when it didn’t work.
Idiot.
I swear, I wouldn’t last more than 10 minutes working on a customer service or tech help line.
