I was just watching tonight’s episode of Friends, and was somewhat annoyed to hear them talk about taking a visitor to walk up the steps inside the Statue of Liberty.
The statue has been closed since September 11, 2001, and there no plans at this time to open it to the public again. I wish they’d mentioned that fact.
Yeah, well, no matter what they’d have you believe, the terrorists have quite clearly won.
