The Sunday Express tabloid newspaper in London is reporting that Osama bin Laden has been located in Pakistan and his capture is imminent. What I find most interesting about this “story” is the way they got it. According to the Press Trust of India:
The first tip-off came from a senior Republican close to both the White House and the Pentagon, who summoned the Sunday Express to a secret breakfast meeting. The source said: ��They have found Laden. They now know he is within a manageable area which can be watched and controlled.��
This is endlessly amusing — the idea that a senior Republican is summoning London tabloid reporters to secret breakfast meetings?
