Isn’t this interesting news: Wonderfalls creator Bryan Fuller has signed a two-year, seven-figure development deal with Fox, the studio that cancelled his show after only 4 episodes. Get this quote:
“Bryan has an incredibly fresh and unique voice for television,” said 20th Century Fox television president Dana Walden, who called Fuller one of several people identified by the executives “who sort of defines what this studio is trying to do in terms of distinctive and groundbreaking television.”
Wonderfalls wasn’t distinctive and groundbreaking enough? I don’t think Fox is really interested in distinctive and groundbreaking unless those words are describing some new low.
