One year ago today, I wrote about Rosedale, the estate in upper northwest Washington, DC where I used to work. I still miss working there, where you could eat lunch out on the rolling lawn and watch all the privileged, rich, selfish neighbors walking their dogs.
Anyway, over the last week I’ve been receiving a number of spams all entreating me to consider the booming housing market and begging me to refinance my home at 3501 Newark Street for great new terms.
3501 Newark Street is the address of the Rosedale estate.
It occurs to me that if I actually was the owner of Rosedale, I’d probably erect a giant electrified fence around it and forbid all the rich bastards there from walking their dogs on my lawn. They all have yards, why do they want to ruin mine?
