Judging from the access logs, it’s not likely to inconvenience anyone, really, but here’s a heads up: my internet radio stations will be off the air for the weekend, as I pack up the computers and lug them over to where we’re staging our entry for the 48 Hour Film competition. (That was a good, long sentence, wasn’t it?)
Yup, once again it’s time for a bunch of us to get together and produce a short film all in the space of 48 hours. We’ll get the call tomorrow night that tells us our genre, character, prop, and line of dialogue, then start feverishing putting together a script which we’ll film on Saturday. It’s great fun and great stress. I’ll post the results of our filmmaking here, but you should also join us at the AFI Silver Theatre in Silver Spring, MD on Thursday, May 13 at 7:15pm. That’s when our film with be screened, and the audience will vote! So, we need you, the faithful JAIT reader, to come vote for us!
Tickets are available online now at http://www.afi.com (click on Silver Theater, then click on Film Information). Ticket prices are $7.50 each. THE SHOW ALWAYS SELLS OUT — GET YOUR TICKETS NOW!!!
