This is possibly the only good thing I have to say about Dick Cheney: he didn’t hide his 2 DUI convictions, he owned up to his “youthful indiscretions” — he was 20-21 — even though he didn’t exactly trumpet them to the public.
He admitted his failures and evidently never repeated that specific unlawful act.
His boss claimed that his DUI was a “youthful indiscretion,” even though he was 30 years old at the time.
