Just As I Thought

Tripping over themselves

The anti-love forces in Alabama forced through a constitutional amendment last month, trying to codify their intolerance and bigotry into the state constitution.
Unfortunately, they didn’t follow the rules.

A state judge Tuesday threw out a Louisiana constitutional amendment banning same-sex marriage, less than three weeks after it was overwhelmingly approved by the voters.

District Judge William Morvant said the amendment was flawed as drawn up by the Legislature because it had more than one purpose: banning not only same-sex marriage but also civil unions.

These hateful people are so frantic to put the screws to anyone who is different from themselves that they keep circumventing procedure and trampling the law to get their mean spirited legislation passed.

  • Alabama huh? I think we all know how they feel about same-FAMILY marriages.
