The Bob & Edith’s diner, on Columbia Pike near Carter’s Amoco, used to be a Roy Roger’s. Before that, it was a Three Chefs. Butch Mason, a family friend, used to work at Carter’s Amoco. Farther down Columbia Pike, across from our church thrift shop, is a used car lot that used to be a Gino’s Pizza. Before that, it was a Red Barn restaurant, which is why it looks like it does.
