Another mystery solved: I was bewildered by the strange occurrence last week where my clock radio was set an hour AHEAD my some mysterious force; this morning I figured it out.
Last night, the power went out for just a minute or two in the middle of a wind storm about midnight. This morning, on my way to work, I realized that the time was later than I thought. It was because my clock radio had set itself back to 12:00am when the power came back on. The radio was probably about 5 minutes behind.
So, if the power had gone out at 11pm, the radio would set itself to 12am… an hour ahead.
Think I’ll have me some Scooby snacks now!
