Just As I Thought

Vote late, vote often

Is it worth mentioning that George W. Bush will be re-elected president today?
It’s the day the electoral votes are counted. Naturally, we can expect some Democrats to object during the process because of irregularities in the Ohio vote; pundits all agree that it will be for naught because the Republican majority will re-elect Bush no matter what they say or what evidence is produced.
This bugs me.
Basically, what they’re saying is that the majority rules in Congress no matter what; so if the popular and electoral vote favored, say, Kerry, then it wouldn’t matter because all the Republicans would still vote for Bush.
I wish there were just a smidgen of honor left in Congress.
