Just As I Thought

Give that man some Xanax

Is it possible that George Bush is delusional? I mean, really seriously ill, in need of anti-psychotic medication?
He actually said this:

“There was no evidence that Saddam Hussein was involved with the attack of 9/11,” Bush said. “I’ve never said that and never made that case prior to going into Iraq.”

Just yesterday, I watched video clips of him saying exactly that, over and over and over.
So, he’s either completely insane or he’s just lying outrageously in a manner that lacks all the subtlety and technical precision of the previous occupant of the Oval Office.
Although, maybe someone will go through all the footage and speeches and whatnot and discover that the technicality is the word “prior.” Maybe he didn’t explicitly make the connection until after the war started?
Man, they called Clinton Slick Willy. What do we call George?
The new message:

“I think they are related in the war on terror because he (Saddam) had terrorist connections. Again, he was a sworn enemy and he’d had weapons of mass destruction, had used them,” Bush said.

Subtle: he had WMD. Past tense. (We know he had them, we sold them to him.)
