Since I was playing around with the VTA map, I decided to go ahead and add placemarks for the VTA on Google Earth. Now I can visualize where the stations are, since as a newbie I have no idea where it goes. Download the KMZ file here.

Cool! I was there at the opening of the Tasman West extension to Mountain View in 1999, and got to be one of the first people to ride it, on a special pre-opening run for the media. (VTA is a client of the PR agency I interned with in San Jose years ago.)
