So, I wonder what will be the end game in the whole ABC “Path to 9/11” miniseries? Will they pull it? Run it later on the SciFi channel? In any case, at least part of it will be pre-empted by Bush’s campaign speech on September 11 at 9pm, when the show is supposed to be airing.
I’m sure that if they pull it, they’ll claim that they were misled by the producers or some such nonsense. What I want to know is this: why in the world did a major broadcast network like ABC schedule and pay for a) a miniseries that isn’t even finished just a few days before it’s airdate; and b) a fictionalized account of such a horrifying event?
Who in the hell made this program acquisition, and do they still have a job?
