Remember that old idea that Congress should, you know, represent the wishes of their constituents? Hahahaha! That was the old America. In today’s America, the fact that 72% of Americans (including a whopping 53% of Republicans!) wanted the Buffett Rule passed means nothing to the Republicans who filibustered to prevent it.
