Yeah, I don’t think many people are going to be really upset by this — at least, they wouldn’t admit to it in this climate of haves and have nots. My favorite part of this story? “The 49ers loaned Santa Clara leaders the remaining $30 million and started construction, thinking they’d be paid back from future property tax revenue.” Read that again. The 49ers LOANED the county money so they could then give it back to the 49ers to build their stadium. So sick and tired of taxpayers paying billionaires.
