Gosh, really? You don’t think it’s because passengers are treated like criminals by the TSA, like battery chickens by the airlines and charged ridiculous and sundry fees for the privilege?

Now, there were plenty of people who shook their head at people (like me) who stood in line to buy an iPhone.
But I can only say this: no one in that line was dressed up in a wizard costume or carried a wand.
