Yup, one year to the day after my filmmaking team didn’t win, the tide has turned… I just found out that our 48 Hour Film Project entry for this year has won the coveted Audience Award! This means that of all the films screened, the audience — who voted during the screening — picked ours as the best!
I’m amazed, bewildered, and humbled. I swear I didn’t think we had a chance.
We’ll see if we won any other awards during the awards night on June 11 at 9pm at the AFI Silver Theatre in Silver Spring, Maryland. See you there!
