OK. ABC World News Tonight just reported on traffic congestion, and told of a woman in California whose 35 mile commute takes up to an hour and 15 minutes… gee, how sad. MY commute from one side of Washington, DC to the other is only 13 miles, and can take up to an hour–and I try to commute AFTER or BEFORE rush hours. So, basically, this woman’s commute is twice as fast as mine. Poor thing. How can she stand it? How will she ever survive? My heart is aching.
