I just saw a Visa commercial with Emmit Smith (the second one in 10 minutes – is he getting a bit overexposed?). In one shot, he’s clearly using an Apple Titanium Powerbook. When the camera shoots over his shoulder to see the screen, it’s clear that he’s using a Windows laptop, it appears to be a Dell. What’s the deal here?
I often find that a lot of companies use the Powerbook in ads because it looks so good… but the software product they are promoting never runs on Macs. I have a feeling that the Verified by Visa program that this commercial touts is a Windows-only feature.
