While I’ve been preoccupied with American stupidity (a huge percentage of Americans evidently think that the 9/11 hijackers were Iraqi when in reality they were Saudi Arabians), the stupidity of young Germans completely passed me by.
One-third of Germans under age 30 believe the U.S. government may have sponsored the September 11, 2001, attacks on New York and Washington, according to a poll.
And about 20 percent of Germans in all age groups hold this view, according to a survey of 1,000 people conducted for the weekly Die Zeit.
Obviously, polls are only good for one thing – pointing out the percentage of morons on this planet.
