A new recommendation for a reality show: Airline, a new series on A&E gives a behind the scenes look at Southwest Airlines and what those poor employees have to deal with every day. It really makes you want to be extra special nice to them when you visit the airport.

What did you think of it? I watched the first two episodes earlier this evening. Of course, it’s no “Airport.” I don’t know, their focus more on the travails (mostly angry and/or stupid passengers) and less on the triumphs made it not so interesting in my book. But you’re right, it does show you what those front-line employees have to deal with day in and day out. (And the bit on those three flight attendants was fun.) Yup, the glamor of air travel is definitely over.
