Just As I Thought

V-A-C-A-T-I-O-N

I decided earlier today that I need a vacation. Maybe that will help snap me out of whatever the hell is going on with me. I got a passport application — but that takes 6 weeks. So, if I’m going somewhere far away, the earliest would be this summer owing to work schedules, etc.
I want to go to London and sit in a hotel room watching BBC2 for a while. After that, where else should I go? Any suggestions?
Keep in mind that I’m not MADE of money. And I hate to go anywhere by myself, so if you’ve got time and a passport, let me know.

  • I love London, so I have lots of suggestions. The Millennium Wheel is fun and you won’t feel weird by yourself….Tower of London is excellent, as is the British Museum, Tate Galleries, National Gallery. The Portobello Road Market in Notting Hill is wonderful on a Friday morning. And my favorite restaurant is an Indian restaurant called Vama, located in South Kensington.

  • You want to go to London and watch t.v.? Well, it’s nice to know some things never change.
You can expedite your passport if you want, it costs a little more but you can get it within a week. Let me know if you need to know how.
Also, think about someplace with a beach. Grab a chair, a book and sunscreen (if I remember you require spf 7000) that should cure what ales ya.
