I’m just so tired of hypocrisy.
We all have seen the way the Bush White House operates — make personal attacks on anyone who dares to speak a word against them. Lately it’s been Richard Clarke. Rather than make reasoned arguments against his conclusions with evidence to back up their claims, they instead put all their energy into attacking him personally.
And after Senator Ted Kennedy made a speech blasting the Bush White House, the campaign made this astonishing hypocritical statement:
“Issuing personal attacks against the president is just another way of saying they have no agenda to lead America,” said Terry Holt, spokesman for the Bush-Cheney campaign.
What’s the excuse for Bush’s innumerable personal attacks, then? A failed agenda?
